The tea house Konnichian that was built by Genpaku Sotan when he retired, was inherited by his fourth son, Senso Soshitsu, firmly establishing the family succession. Each generation's Iemoto has taken the name 'Soshitsu' and the present sixteenth Iemoto is Zabosai Soshitsu.
