1539 - 1615. A manufacturer of sake and a trader. He helped Toyotomi Hideyoshi to defeat the Shimazu. He was closely acquainted with the merchants of Sakai and Tennojiya's Tsuda Doshitsu (the younger brother of Sotatsu). He also took part in tea gatherings with Sen no Rikyu and Tsuda Sogyu.
