Tenbun 15 (1546) - Keicho 12 (1607). Rikyu's son. He inherited the Sakai family fortune from Rikyu, but little is known about him from the time of Rikyu's enforced suicide. There are many anecdotes remaining in which his skill in chanoyu is compared to that of Shoan.
