An Omotesenke tea family. Hisada Soei (1557 - 1624), who was active in the time of Rikyu was the first head of the family. The second generation Sori married Genpaku Sotan's daughter Kure. The fifth generation Omotesenke Iemoto Zuiryusai, the sixth generation Kakukakusai, the ninth generation Ryoryosai and the tenth generation Kyukosai came as adopted sons from the Hisada family, so that they have the closest family ties to the Iemoto.
