This hall enshrining Rikyu Koji, the founder of the Senke way of tea, can be found in all three Senke residences. The Omotesenke Sodo is also called 'Tensetsudo'. It is only used for Rikyu's anniversary memorial services or for special tea gatherings. Its name plaque was written by Daitokuji's Jikurei Sogo.
