Meiji 34 (1901) - Showa 54 (1979). The thirteenth Iemoto of Omotesenke. He was the second son of the twelfth Iemoto Seisai. During the Second World War, in Showa 17 (1942) he inaugurated the Senke Domonkai and in Showa 24 (1949), the Iemoto became an incorporated association, Zaidanhojin Fushin'an. He created the basic organization to propagate chanoyu and to protect its traditions.
