Rikyu held a farewell tea gathering for Kokei Sochin, who had incurred the wrath of Toyotomi Hideyoshi, at his Juraku residence on September 4 of Tensho 16 (1588). On this occasion, Shunoku Soen and Gyokuho Joso of Daitoku-ji temple, and Honkakubo also attended.
