Omotesenke Domonkai Hawaii celebrated our 60th anniversary on February
20-21, 2015, together with Northern California and Southern California
organizations celebrating their 45th anniversary and the Eastern
Region, including New York, Washington D.C., and Florida, celebrating
its 5th anniversary.
The two days of activities included the kencha shiki at Honpa
Hongwanji Hawaii Betsuin, chakai at the beautiful Japan Consulate
General of Honolulu conducted by the three U.S. organizations, and
chakai at the Japanese Cultural Center of Hawaii conducted by the
Domonkai Hawaii. The final activity was our gala banquet at
Halekulani Hotel.
